A note to new readers ... if you could post your comments and questions here on Substack, not in emails, I will try to respond to those I think deserve it (like yours, Quinn). I can't respond to emails individually. Many thanks!

I would like to increase the $ I pay each month for your substack.

I can afford seven dollars instead of the five I have been paying (I know it's not much, but I am super broke and do what I can).

The fact that your subscriber numbers have dropped indicates that you are a real truth teller.

--Iran is one of the few countries left that has a state-owned central bank, and it sits on 10-15% of the world's oil supply, etc. The whole Iran thing is clearly globo-cap. Gaza 2035 is also globo-cap.

War is a fav tool of depopulation lovers, and depop lovers are quite common amongst the ranks of bankers and, of course, every war is a bankers war.

King Charles met with Hamas and Netanyahu in Qatar right after the Gaza horror show started--ostensibly to "help" plan post-Hamas Gaza. The Daily Mail actually wrote about this.

Keep writing the truth.

Thanks for not falling into Jew-hate, or any other hate.

I myself am a child-less, disabled (dependent on govt benefits, ugh) middle aged woman---the ultimate useless eater.

Keep any eye on assisted suicide laws--here in the U.S. states are passing assisted suicide laws in lockstep, at the same time that Medicaid, food, and housing benefits are on the chopping block. France just legalized assisted suicide, UK is working to get a horrific euthanasia law passed while simultaneously kicking off one million people from the disability program.

Stay strong CJ.

I sometimes re-read your essays just because your words let me breathe.

Thank you, but please don't worry about increasing your monthly rate, especially as you're on a tight budget. I'm blessed with enough paying readers to keep me going.

We are all on tight budgets, and I know it's just a bit, but I want to give you as much as I can. You've helped me stay sane these past five years, and made me feel less alone, and less afraid.

I suffer from severe ptsd (I also have myasthenia gravis) and fear is my primary emotion. Your essays have done more to tamp down my terror than any pill or therapy session ever has.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

You've quite a tremendous brain and heart.

Know that I think of you often, and strongly wish the best for you.

If I had a million bucks, I'd give you 800,000, for sure.

I'm with Luna. I'm also on a ridiculously tight budget, so the option to add small bits is appreciated.

Not all of us can write, or speak out, but we can help, even if it's only our tiny amount.

CJ,

Excellent work.

It's the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, The Great Pumpkin and Sneeches with Stars all mixed into one.

Jeffrey Sachs and Tucker just did a 2hr. interview (June 9th) trying to tackle the insanity of it all.

For me it was a worthwhile viewing.

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2025/06/11/tucker-carlson-interviews-jeffrey-sachs-on-the-topic-of-u-s-intel-agencies-pushing-for-conflict-with-russia-and-iran/#more-272970

What 'was said' vs. what wasn't captured my interest the most.

For example, Prof Sachs suggested that the CIA has been a rogue organization for at least 50 years.

What wasn't discussed (and of great interest) was how about the rest of the international affiliates (Mossad, MI6, KBG, SNU, etc.) as to whether they are rogue or not.  I'd suggest if one isn't, how could the rest be?

He also said that it could easily be put back under controls by simply starving its funding.

What funding?

Legal/congressionally approved funding?

Or the funds its procured since time immemorial through rape/pillage/drugs/prostitution/human trafficing/pedophilia/etc?

Prof. Sachs also mentioned that since 1992 over 50 million people have perished due to the multi-trillion $$ warfare continuing around the globe, I'd submit, all headed and run by the globalist-capitalist empire.

With no morals, ethics, ideology, etc., why would capitalism care?

Jeffrey Sachs is part of the UN Sustainable Development committee and recently called for a world govt. Tucker spoke at last year's Word Govt Summit. Not a peep from these two about how the bankers are behind everything, every war in history, including the war between the States, and that bankers sit at the top of the globo cap power pyramid. Also, not a peep about Agenda 2030 from these two, not in this interview, or any other. Remember: Public figures are allowed to be public. A few years ago, Tucker had on Bill Foster, and Bill Foster openly said we will have to have Digital IDs, and Tucker said that was fine; he just didn't like vaccine passports.

Positively Paying It Forward's avatar

Luna,

All good points.

Sachs does throw me a curve ball as he’s all up in his jammies about climate change. So educated, but also easily influenced.

Tucker too, is inconsistent. But mostly, I do enjoy the variety of those he interviews.

All are data points, nothing more.

One more dot helping paint us the entire picture of what we’re looking at.

Best

Luna Basheve-Singer's avatar

Yes, Sachs is up in arms about climate change because he is part of the UN cabal re: Agenda 2030/Sustainable Development Goals. Agenda 20303, which btw, is rolling out as the world burns (please check your state and local land use policies, in particular the redevelopment and comprehensive plans, and climate action plans--online meetings are being held several evenings a week during which our city planners are ripping up everything about our cities that we hold dear). People are totally unaware of the policy changes being made. My county just approved a plan that will re-engineered the entire water, energy, transportation, building, and economic system--and, this year, the redevelopment plan is being implemented. Already, the poorest area is being "redeveloped" to protect biodiversity and three apartment complexes and a big mobile home part are being seized via eminent domain. In sixty days, the poorest residents of my town will all be homeless, so that the city can protect sixteen types of fish in the river. The local chicken farm just had half their land taken to make way for a bike lane that no one will use, since it is way out in the middle of nowhere. I have the storymap of my area's Agenda 2030 redevelopment plan--lots of people are going to be displaced for no good reason. And, there is also a 15 minute city being built, right where my dog vet is, (in my state, Oregon, they're called "Climate Friendly Areas").

But no one knows what's happening at the local level because GloboCap does a great job of distracting and dividing us. I have tried to get people organized to stop the massive land grab that's coming, and to stop the circular economy, etc. but they prefer to go to political rallies or marches.

Oregon too.

I see Merkley is gearing up constituents for another big fire season.

Preparing for Wildfire Season

Jeff met with federal and state fire officials at the Northwest Interagency Coordination Center for a briefing on the outlook for this year’s wildfire season. As Oregon faces expected above-average heat and drought conditions, he is focused on making sure communities across Oregon have the resources they need to prepare for, respond to, and recover from wildfires.

Always somebody else’s fault:

“Amid budget and staffing cuts from the Trump Administration, Jeff has consistently spoken out against the chaos by and fund wildfire response measures in communities across the West. He will continue to fight for consistent support for staffing and equipment needed to protect Oregonians in every corner of the state.

And Congressional Representative Val Hoyle (OR-04) had a few thoughts (again, everything, literally everything is the fault of the current administration):

“Protecting NOAA: Led a request for $656 million for NOAA’s Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR). OAR provides vital predictive information for commercial fisherman and during wildfire season.

Disaster Declaration for Floods: Urged FEMA to declare a Major Disaster Declaration to get federal help for responding to and recovering from the floods that damaged parts of Coos, Curry, Douglas, and Harney counties in March.

Protecting Our Nature: Cosponsored the Protect Our Parks Act and the Save Our Forests Act to ensure that the National Park Service and Forest Service are fully staffed, all terminated employees are reinstated, and that all funds appropriated to the parks by Congress are available as intended.

Other Legislative Actions

Fighting to strengthen our infrastructure: Cosponsored and voted for the Fire Safe Electrical Corridors Act, which would cut red-tape and help electric utilities prevent wildfire risk near electrical infrastructure on our federal lands.

Floods and wildfires everywhere. No mention of what geoengineering efforts continue to overwhelm our skies or dark $$ creating fire chaos to emphasize the need to move everyone into 15 minute cities (for their safety).

Crazy times here in OR. But not to worry, BottleDrop is a great program, and by raising fees, will solve everything. LOL

They got a climate crisis denier in the White House and Trump is even suing companies who divest from fossil fuels and getting the EU to do the same.

Kittykat's avatar

100% agree. After I read CJ’s two books which blew my mind, I went on to read ‘The Creature from Jekyll Island’. I really wanted to recommend this book to round out the picture of the globalist capitalist empire. While CJ argues is no cabal’ and that those who believe it’s a communist takeover are experiencing fever dreams. I think the impact and goals of the central banking cartel cannot be underestimated. Printing and deflating currency and saddling nations with debt IS the source of wealth concentration. Also it is clear private equity and investment bankers are busy buying up all of the most essential industries and resources throughout the world. The WEF espouses a circular economy (save the planet) and turning products into services —such as housing- which is now being sold under notions of socialism but which is i. fact far more fascist ( corporate partnership with governments). Partnerships have been forged with every government on earth today. The job of the IMF is to transfer ‘loans’ to every tin pot dictator around the globe. There are strings attached but the money rarely benefits their poor population. It’s interesting that throughout Africa and S America country after country has turned to socialism. Which has led to more poverty and stronger authoritarian governments. However the dictators will sign on to every agreement at the UN WHO. The creature describes this process. As wealth is concentrated it can only acquire more of the earths resources so eventually if the system continues the vast majority including in the western world ‘Will own nothing’. This is why I believe notions of socialism are being sold via education system. It’s simply corporate marketing for this new world order where you will own nothing and everything including nature is priced AND digitalized in the market and sold to peasants in a feudal like technocracy with a world government and a single digital currency. Eventually the fiat system cannot hold. It’s unsound as a monetary system and money printing and currency devaluation always crashes eventually. Exactly why the corporatists are turning that funny money as rapidly as possible into resources. Some sort of universal basic income will be necessary as tech displaces jobs and above all a much smaller population is needed for the new system to work. In short I do believe yes there is a cabal (central bankers for one) and yes a type of socialism is used to market the new system after the fiat system runs out of inflating room.

The line of the political spectrum, left to right, bends like a horseshoe;

Socialist/Commujists bend towards the fascists at the extremes because they’re similar power mongers

Fascists allow for God while the socialists worship themselves

Kittykat's avatar

The fascist system wax espoused by socialists to meet the demands of wartime economy in Europe. They argued that state run enterprises are far too inefficient and therefore state capture of corporations would be a better model. Fascism is equated with Germany in the literature but it’s essentially centralized state power and corporate government merger. A charismatic leader, propaganda militarism, nationalism and authoritarianism were all features that stemmed from the need to mobilize nations for warfare. Thus they became defining features but not the essence. The essence is centralized state power merged with corporate power.

NJ Election Advisor's avatar

What's the greatest commandment?

Love your neighbor (and God, with all your mind/heart/soul)

Pretty simple.

Dante got it right in the Commedia; people fall in love with distortion: love of someone already taken, love of food/drink, love of power, pride, attachment to self, betraying benefactors, families or neighbors, etc.

These folks love the wrong things to the detriment of humanity.

Kittykat's avatar

Yes all that has become crystal clear given how much evil exists. We need that defense against evil.

NJ Election Advisor's avatar

Thankfully this lifetime isn’t the end; we are on a battleground of good vs evil and there are two flags, God and the devil’s.

Dante had the neutrals chasing a white flag for all eternity, they stood for nothing.

M W's avatar

From the perspective of a “regular person”, there is little difference between fascism (or corporatism if you prefer) and communism. True communism has never existed. All communist movements have been installed from the top down. IOW, the people didn’t bring it in. Those who would be in power did.

Fascism seems to frequently been described as a “right leaning” form of government. That’s wrong. It’s too similar to communism.

On a linear scale - communism is on the left. Fascism is on the left. At the far right is anarchy - no government.

The horseshoe analogy described is wrong. That’s what the powers that be want the people to believe. If fascism is the opposition of communism, it’s easier for the powers that be to get the people to accept fascism elements in order to avoid communism or communism to avoid fascism. The U.S. is arguably already a socialist country. So many people are receiving money or other benefit from the government.

The reality is both fascism and communism are socialist dictatorships.

Ronald Reagan said that the U.S. would usher in fascism in order to stop fascism. Seems to be pretty prescient.

Kittykat's avatar

The entire post WW2 project has been to install socialism via incrementalism. While ensuring the word was never used. The rise of the vast administrative states along with UN globalized socialism which implemented global environmental rules in almost every single city in the western world. Fabian socialists to be exact. They formed political parties in many western countries. and inspired the growth of the vast administrative welfare states we have today. Their Symbol— wolf in sheep’s clothing.

It’s all pretty simple really. As the Word (God) tells us “for we do not fight against flesh and blood”. There is a greater power beyond world leaders or shadow organizations and that is the Enemy of our souls. We know Who eventually wins - praise God. Sadly much pain and carnage in the meantime.

Anti-Hip's avatar

If the (Abrahamic) God existed as advertised (all-powerful, all-knowing, *and* all-loving), absolutely none of this ridiculously cruel theatre would be necessary. He'd endow each of us with the necessary awareness and temperament, and the world would live in eternal peace. Nothing else comes close to making any sense. Instead, I'd ask who put you up to this absurd explanation of the world.

Kat's avatar

He did, in the beginning. And we fucked it up.

Anti-Hip's avatar

You're ignoring the implications of the premises I stated, that you must know very well from what was "revealed" to you in your religion: God is all-powerful, all-knowing, *and* all-loving. Accordingly, He is *also* the root-source creator of all the conditions the result in misery. In particular, He created "free will", yet this supposed "free will" still allows us to be unavoidably limited in mental capacity, that is, overburdened in ignorance and unrecoverably stupid in any number of ways, and so to forever be foolishly shooting ourselves in the foot relative to understanding His volumes of (often inconsistent) rules (hence infinite godmongers to "explain" God!) Yet, *we* are to be blamed for our failures to perform as demanded.

Of course, it was not so much obvious how absurd this was in, say, 500 BC. But now, in 2025 AD, it's ridiculous, and one must stay in denial to believe it. After all, what use would a God worthy of the name have for an interminable parade of godmongers, unlimited groups of which are all arguing with each other, to explain Him? (One notable case, though of only one sect, is papal supremacy, whose infallible rulings as God's mouthpiece nevertheless pathetically change with the times.) But it seems we still need buckets of figurative "cold water" to wake us up.

Anyway, no need to feel so bad about being snookered. It was *men* (possibly w/assistance of non-supreme but exceedingly intelligent and powerful aliens) who created the story to control the peons in their world, so blame them. They launched the Mother of All Psy-Ops, the most successful of all the Holocene harnessings of the evolved sense of spirituality that kept humans sane before they could make much progress way back during the emergence of agriculture.

WTF else is a sane person to believe, in this day and age, except to claw one's way up the epistemological cliff and piece it together *on one's own*? I invite you to do the same! Because is has been spectacularly revealed in the last couple of decades that literally NOTHING can be trusted. And with AI, deepfakes, etc. if you think today is bad, check back in five years. Or even just two.

Why would I go into this long rant? Because the philosophical descendants of these psychopathic Bernaysian manipulators are STILL at it, worse than ever, playing with our pawn minds. They have many religions to mess with us now, of course, including Marxism, garden variety political propaganda tactics, woke, etc. etc. Thus, our relying on the oldest form of their soma, "revealed" religion, is going to be very bad strategy in dealing with the forces CJ describes.

Kat's avatar

I appreciate you taking the time to help me understand your point. You know, it would be so much easier to believe that man and aliens made up God...and/or that God and religion have been used to control the masses. So much easier that I could just get on with my selfish little life and not fret.

I like rants, I rant all the time about one thing or another. I doubt there is any strategy that will help us, though. So I'll just keep doing the harder thing and hope. Thanks again for your thoughts.

moorecraig66's avatar

I love your devotion to what so many scoff at and ridicule. The simple fact that He loves us and we are His children who have lost our way and only His way will save us is way too simple and requires humility meekness. Sadly, attributes that few of us possess. Myself included.

Gayle Wells's avatar

Then you would have no free will taking him from creator to dictator.

Anti-Hip's avatar

There is no reason to believe there is any such thing as free will. Both it, and *any* alternative explanations, are no better than illusions that allows our conscious human minds to function. One cannot be the author of one's mind, both inside it processing, and outside it tinkering with *how* it is processing, at the same time.

Anti-Hip's avatar

None of us can know anything of a being superior to us. Intelligence can only see down. I make assertions of what I believe to the best of my ability. That's all any of us can do.

Lynn's avatar

You are right. We cannot know of any being superior to us without revelation from that superior Being. CS Lewis explained it much better than I can. Thankfully, we did get information about the supreme Being, as He revealed Himself in His son, Who became like us, walked like us and endured all of the horror and degradation and disappointments that this life could throw at Him, and in His Word, His operating manual so to speak. None of what is happening right now is a surprise to me because God revealed the future in countless prophecies in the Old and New Testament. It is a profound comfort to me that He said "just so you know, dear ones, this is what is going to happen.... But take heart, I have overcome the world". A God who assures us of His love, assures us that His purposes WILL be fulfilled, provides a way of escape, and promises to make sense of it all makes ultimate sense to me in every way. A man made religion would promise a happy ending and not deliver. The true God says "things are going to get bad, but I have a plan (and who would invent such a plan?) and you are safe in Me.

Anti-Hip's avatar

"He revealed Himself in His son"

(1) We have no way of knowing what in Scripture is true or not. The oldest tiny fragments are dated at least several decades after the events they describe, and even the New Testament is something of a Frankenstein's monster of cut-and-paste-and-discard up to three centuries after the fact. Who knows what in the world what *really* went on during those decades and centuries and for what purposes. (I'm confident many embarrassing parts are locked up in the Vatican to this day.)

(2) Even if the events described were done so absolutely accurately from the POV of a human observer, my other point about hallucination (and human interpretation) also applies.

It's hopeless. That's why it has historically been called "faith", although curiously I've seen that it has morphed in recent years to something more screaming out of desperation "TRUTH!!"

Anti-Hip's avatar

"without revelation from that superior Being"

As humans are unable to confirm that what they experience from a supposed God, the argument is moot. It is indistinguishable from hallucination.

Lynn's avatar

I suppose then any belief you have or I have could be indistinguishable from hallucination. By that definition you could argue that all of life is a hallucination. If that is a belief that gives you comfort or helps you make sense of the reality you face, then you are welcome to believe what you will. I am sorry you believe that. There is Ultimate Reality. Of that I am confidently convinced. I need no mental gymnastics or “opiate of the masses” to “escape” reality. I am deeply grateful that I know reality and He is a Person.

"the more classical “good v. evil” … that’s the only thing that really makes any sense to me."

What mainly(?) the revealed-religious call Good vs Evil I'd say is more accurately described as Normal humanity vs (intelligent) Psychopaths/Sociopaths (and, on a continuum). It all boils down to whether one cares about other people and to what extent. The latter group will do anything for personal power, the former group balances personal and social needs. Capitalism, socialism, etc. are, under that primary driver, simply second-level causations for societal health, and so their success/failure (relative the entire population) depend heavily on those who come to be in charge.

Turfseer's avatar

I appreciate CJ’s flair for diagnosing the shape-shifting nature of power, and yes—the global-capitalist “clear-and-hold” model is real. But I have to push back on the idea that this is the master key to interpreting the Israel-Iran escalation.

What’s missing here is the agency of nation-states and ideological actors. Not every geopolitical move is a puppet dance choreographed by a faceless, post-ideological empire. Sometimes, a state—say, Israel—has its own reasons, internal pressures, and ideological ambitions. The timing, the narrative buildup, and the specific military targets suggest more than a “clear-and-hold” abstraction. They suggest premeditated regional hegemony, domestic political desperation, or even theological entanglements—not just empire-maintenance.

Reducing all motives to the actions of a borderless capitalist force ends up erasing key distinctions. It can obscure rather than clarify. Taken to its logical end, this view implies that Iran isn’t responding to decades of Western-backed coups and sanctions—it’s just failing to “play ball.” That Israel isn’t advancing its own strategic aims—it’s merely serving as a regional branch office for an amorphous empire.

I get the impulse to step back and trace the patterns—but sometimes we zoom out so far that we lose the plot. Not everything is a simulacrum. Some of it is painfully, bloodily real.

C Woody's avatar

Excellent article, simulacra is a perfect description.

Frank Zappa quoted decades ago,”The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it is profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion is too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the chairs and tables out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theatre”. This quote seems very appropriate to the simulacrum in which we are living.

Meanwhile on the Musk Psyop platform the latest algorithm is dancing female IDF soldiers….seems very reminiscent of the dancing nurses of recent years… and come to think of it, the dancing Israelis during the fall of the towers in 01. Hmmm

The Bible effectively said that the whole world lies (all the time, non-stop, and about everything). Satan is the father of lies.

And hence the god of this world.

The father of lies. Satan’s victory in Eden was based upon deceit. The Creation fell in its entirety due to Eve’s and Adam’s disobedience, also based upon deceit. There is one Truth, the Word made flesh as revealed to us in the Bible. All else is deceit. Christ came to us for one purpose—as he replied to Pilate, He “came to bear witness to the Teuth,” and as He told His disciples, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father but through Me.”

"More like they make it hard to think clearly about what anyone can see."

This is absolutely the case for me. I can see it but before I can figure out what it means and what my response should be, there is something else to see and figure out. I get so confused and overwhelmed I just shut down.

Just wanted to say—this piece is brilliant. Razor-sharp, unsparing, and somehow both devastating and darkly funny. You nailed something essential here: the way the global-capitalist empire doesn’t care what story we believe, as long as we stay inside the narrative machinery. The part about the empire having no ideology—just masks, just marketing—hit hard. And your read on the commodification of opposition (X, MAGA, resistance as brand) is as clear as it is chilling.

It’s rare to read something that refuses to flatter, refuses to settle, and still manages to hold coherence without falling into despair. You’ve managed to stay ahead of the simulation, and I just wanted to thank you for putting it out there. It’s got teeth—and I needed to read it.

I'm just glad nukes are a hoax and can't actually exist. Saves a lot of unnecessary fear and makes the psyop more clear.

Other than the small problemette that I cannot write well, I’d have summarised my understanding of the whole situation very similarly.

One missing piece, at least I see it everywhere, is worship of evil by those I collectively call “the perpetrators”. By this I mean that in addition to accomplishing their goals, they use impressive imaginations to make everything as horrible as possible. Way beyond what is arguably necessary (from the perpetrators’ perspective) to get the job done.

I think it’s very likely that, if they succeed in installing their digital, totalitarian control grid, they’ll subsequently murder most people. In many ways it doesn’t matter if I’m completely wrong about that, because we’ll all be permanent prisoners, which is no life at all as far as I’m concerned.

They do all this because their adversary is God.

CJ, I love your writing- bought your book recently but haven’t read it yet. The only potential disagreement I have with you on the question of who the true bad guys are-and I say “potential” because I’m not sure I’ve read enough of your work to grasp the big picture as you see it- is that I don’t believe that money/capitalism is the main driver of this global destruction. It makes little sense to me that the masterful world-wide propaganda program that herded millions of people into begging for the poison injection and that is working overtime to move the world to full surveillance and the implementation of digital currency is all about money. Perhaps you’re saying it’s also about control in the sense that control ensures that crony capitalists can suck up all the real wealth from the human race and give the untermenschen survivors a pittance to live on so long as they behave? It somehow helps the cause to sicken or kill millions of not billions of people? Would it be fair to say that you don’t see a spiritual element to the plan rolling out against humanity? Just trying to better understand your viewpoint!

I think there are dark demonic forces at work behind the scenes. We are not alone on planet earth. It will likely culminate with the Antichrist soon enough. Act accordingly. 🙏🏻
