Well, here's the problem (and I'm fully aware that many people think it's just a "theory" ...): The so called "populist" or "neonationalist" movement was a ruse from the beginning. As someone who studied elitist politics for almost three decades, I can tell you with absolute certainty (yes, absolute), that it was nothing more than good old dialectics: You build up a pseudo-countermovement (antithesis) to globalism (as thesis) - and from this artificially invoked conflict you draw your solution (the synthesis).
Which in this case is not more globalism, what I initially thought (wrongfully), but the new TECHNOCRATIC world order. In other words, what we are witnessing right now is not some kind of power shift between the established political systems, called them whatever you like - globalism, populism, nationalism or neonationalism - but a shift from the established ones toward a global technocratic rulership. A rulership that is not openly visible, but hides behind code lines, in algorithms, or as James Corbett so eloquently put it: "Algocracy".
Unfortunately, that's what many people still don't understand. (That's why I wrote "What is Technocracy" (available only in german for now) in the first place, a book in which I try to explain why so many so-called "enemies" of globalism, especially on the Internet ("Alternative Media), have been provably financed and build up by the very same globalist elites). My axiom, that has held true my entire lifetime (*with 2 exceptions that prove the rule): In the USA, the most corrupt party at any given time is the PARTY IN POWER.
*The exceptions are Kennedy and Trump's first term - in both cases they were not in charge.
