I'm probably not going to be able to "like" every comment from folks who have bought or are going to buy the book, but I'll try ... in any event, heartfelt thanks to all of you!

Done. I prefer audiobooks, but I made an exception for this. Got a hardback. Now I need to get to the beach or dock this summer to read it.

I hope it’s on kindle 🙏🏻 I used to be more socialist leaning until I realized if we got rid of all the capitalist there wouldn’t be anyone left that knows how to run shit

I was just about to type the same thing. 33,333 is like some sort of mythical number. I'd do everything in my power to keep it there....

Same. Just pre-ordered it on Amazon based solely on your recommendation. I got the hardcover since it was the same price as paperback. I will trust you to write a review on Amazon since they banned me years ago due to too many political jokes in the comments.

I'm going to contact one of my local bookstores, "Tsunami Books" and ask them to order it for me. They need to see the book....who knows, maybe crack it open and read a page or two to unwoke themselves. :)

I read and have copy of the original version. It was a disgusting read, but quite good as a dystopian novel. The various zones are in the making as we live.

This is one of my all-time favorite Amazon reader reviews ...

“This is the worst book I have read in my 73 years! If the author removed the overabundance of f words…might be one hundred pages shorter…there is nothing positive I can say about this book … it is perverse, full of sadomasochistic sex …violence, no regard for human life, murder, and everything vile that one could find in life...all in one book! The best use of this book would be to use it as kindling to start a fire…it is so depraved...I have to wonder if it was written under the influence of drugs…save your money...and spare your mind and soul of this evil…”

I feel slightly bad making fun of poor "Marge," given the torment I subjected her to, but her review is just too good. For a contrasting opinion, try V. N. Alexander's in the Dactyl Review. https://dactylreview.com/2024/04/14/zone-23-by-c-j-hopkins/

So he doesn't like dystopian stuff. It's likely he doesn't like to take a long hard look at reality, either. It reminds me of a passage in Kurosawa's autobiography, where, in the aftermath of the great Tokyo earthquake and subsequent fire, there were mass quantities of dead bodies all over the place. Kurosawa's brother took him on an outing to survey the scene, and admonished him to look closely at everything, since being an artist means never to avert ones eyes.

That 'review' right there just might make the book a best seller, given that those particular traits are so prevalent in our society today! I so WANT to buy your book, right now, today. But my income won't allow it. I will put it on my Christmas list--my family loves that I make it easy for them. Hope that helps!

One critic heard from - no freedom of the press ideal alive

in this guy- what could be more depraved than watching Gazan’s die in today's world a true perversion in a ‘civilized’ world or the kill shot called Covid targeting the humans in the whole world in place for 5 years now.

When I see a review like this, it makes me wonder what made him buy it. I have bought many books over the years that it turned out I wouldn't have given full-throated endorsements to, but I at least had enough of an idea of what I was buying to not have my expectations as disrupted as this.
